Effective Characteristics of Iranian Oncology Nurses in Their Therapeutic Communication With Cancer Patients

Objectives: Therapeutic communication is a central element of the nurse-patient interaction in providing quality care to cancer patients. The present study aimed evaluate effective characteristics Iranian oncology nurses their therapeutic that might determine nature nurses’ patients with cancer. Materials and Methods: This was qualitative performed conventional content analysis method 2020. participants included 18 working wards educational medical centers northwestern Iran, selected by purposive sampling. In addition, data were collected using semi-structured interviews.
